Glyconutritional Company on 20/20

I believe the upcoming Glyconutrients feature on ABC's 20/20 will be negative. As usual it will be perceived as "one of those multi-marketing schemes" making outrageous claims on a "wonder tonic."

There are quite a few inexperienced independent distributors that get carried away, or don't know the rules and regulations. In defense of MLM companies, the majority of independent distributors are aware and educate their reps to enforce that Glyconutrients do not treat or cure any medical conditions. But there are those that are not aware or do not make an assertive effort, and predicatively those are the ones 20/20 will do the report on.

In the four minute video teaser of the upcoming segment on the 20/20 web site, a young girl is interviewed who had a large tumor removed from her brain, but who is now refusing all traditional medical treatments in lieu of glyconutritional products. She confidently believes it will cure cancer. There is also, of course, the obligatory "hidden camera" footage of distributors at opportunity meetings...

20/20 airs on Fridays on ABC at 10pm. View the video preview by clicking on the link "Sugar Pill Treats Cancer?" here: http://abcnews.go.com/2020

Nobody Cares...

In my quest to share the discovery of Glyconutrients with the rest of the world my sister recently said to me- "Nobody Cares!"

Don't get me wrong. My sister is fully aware of the benefits of glyconutrients, as she is a consumer of the products, and knows all too well the support they provide in personal health and wellness. To say she has had positive personal experiences with glyconutritionals would be an understatement.

My sister has seen the time I've invested in researching the journals, publications, and product knowledge to share the knowledge with others. She thinks there is too much negativity, skeptics and nay-sayers...

"Nobody Cares!"

Now I ask you. How is one to feel when your own sister, a smart independent registered nurse, shoots you off your horse like that? I was actually surprised at first. I mean, she is a nurse afterall, right? Why doesn't she "get it?" Wouldn't it make sense for someone in her line of work to want to share the knowledge of glyconutrients with others to better their quality of life?

Really, think about it. If the entire planet was "open" to learn about this, how much of a difference could this make on a Global scale?

I keep hearing my sister's voice in my head. "Nobody Cares!"

I suppose I could give in and succomb to the pharmaceutical giants' control of the "sickness business" and be influenced by one of those happy-flowery drug commercials I see on tv. Wait a minute. Should I take the advice of those commercials or listen to the advice of the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at John Hopkins who was listed by TIME Magazine and CNN as one of the top doctors in America. Dr. Benjamin Carson was quoted in a published article saying we all need to be taking Glyconutrients.

Those words keep ringing... "Nobody Cares!"

Dr. Emil Mondoa, MD and author of, "Sugars that Heal" has published interviews promoting the benefits of glyconutrients.

"Nobody Cares!"

Dr. Alex Omelchuck was debilitated from a massive brain aneurism until he did the research and began consuming glyconutrients. Now Dr Omelchuk travels the world sharing his remarkable story of recovery and how we have adopted the wrong (pharmaceutical) paradigm for treating disease. He explains in a “no nonsense” manner how mother nature placed life-giving plants on our planet and how we can utilize powerful plant extracts and concentrates to “heal ourselves”.

Dr. John Rollins, a former Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Howard University's School of Medicine, award winning senior patent examiner for over 2 decades at the US Patent/Trademark Office who examined patent applications for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical technologies. Dr. Rollins is an Embryologist and a specialist in bio-molecular biology. His job at the Patent Office was to evaluate and review all new discoveries of bio-affecting compounds and compositions in both the drug and nutritional arenas. He stated Glyconutritional technology "stood head and shoulders above the rest... This discovery might provide the single biggest opportunity to impact health from both ends of the spectrum."

"First, glyconutrients are essential for normal defense functions, making them one of the best strategies for reducing the risk of disease. Second, they are also necessary to support the normal functions of repair, making them one of the most critical strategies for supporting the body's normal healing functions."

"Nobody Cares!"

Today a good number of doctors and scientists "get it." Results motivated studies are being conducted by the Ugandan government for the beneficial impact of Glyconutrients on their countries' population suffering from AIDs and Malaria.

Tens of thousands of orphans from around the world have been positively impacted by consuming glyconutrients, for FREE by the way!

"Nobody Cares!"

There are those nay-sayers that state there is no science to it. Glycoscience/Glycomics is relatively new. Let's see there have been quite a few publications on it. Just to name a few:

-Acta Anatomica published an etire issue on Glyco Sciences
-MD New's multiple articles
-Science Magazine published an entire issue on Glycobiology
-A technology magazine, which I can't reveal, stated Glycomics was one of 10 technologies that will change the world.
-Harper's Biochemistry, first year medical text, lists eight vital sugars in a chapter on glycoproteins
-Scripp's Institue received $34 million grant to do research

"Nobody Cares!"

I have to say- I DO CARE! There is something to it! Glyconutrients are not "new" - they have been around probably forever and used to be found in our daily food- but no more. They have been re-discovered and combined into products; products that support and nourish our cells. Everyone on the planet needs to know about this- simple as that...

Now that I think about it in retrospect, when my sister said "Nobody Cares," I think what she really meant was "No One Will Listen!" Hmmm... I guess the question is, how do I get people to listen?
