For the first time in the 25-year history of the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA), the board of directors has certified a global brand as its official health and wellness supplement provider – Mannatech, Incorporated.

Mannatech wins patent suits against five companies

Mannatech has proprietary rights to their glyconutrient technology. Mannatech has won patent infringement judgments against five companies accused of using the firm’s patented glyconutrients in products.

As the Dallas Business Journal reported in May, Mannatech previously had 17 competing products pulled off the shelves for using the patented technology.

Mannatech said Thursday it won judgments against the five companies — Micro Health Solutions, Wy’s Enterprises, Florida Nutri Labs, Angel Care USA and New Sun — after accusing the companies of manufacturing, using or selling products that infringe on its nutrient patents.

Randomized, Double-Blind, Controlled Human Study Finds Mannatech’s Ambrotose® Complex Improves Cognition and Well-Being*

The results of a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study shows healthy middle-aged adults who took one teaspoon of Ambrotose^® complex¹ twice daily performed significantly better on memory tasks and were overall more positive in their mood.² *

Drs. Talitha Best and Eva Kemps of Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, and Dr. Janet Bryan of the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia, published their findings of the 12-week study in the January 2010 issue of Developmental Neuropsychology, a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
